Game Overview:

Imperial Somethin’ Got Played in the Mail is a simple 2-6 person game for ages 21+ where players race to deliver beer labels to Wiley Roots Brewing Company from StickerGiant before the scheduled release date. Players advance their game piece by rolling a die and moving to the next spot on the gameboard.

Setup:

Peel each label from all six cans and arrange them on the inside of a case tray, lining up each side to create the game board. Labels should be placed in order 1-6 going left to right and then down, but may be placed on top or underneath the label before. Each label will lineup to the label before to create the gameboard.

Next peel each game piece from the additional sticker sheet and place at StickerGiant. Each game piece is designed to stay on the board, but can be easily peeled off and reused each time the player advances.

This game requires the use of a die to advance each game piece. If you do not have a die, please use the die provided above.

Gameplay:

Play starts with the player that has been drinking at Wiley Roots the longest and rotates to the left. Each player roles once per turn and then moves their game piece forward based upon the number rolled on the die. All players start at StickerGiant on the gameboard and finish at Wiley Roots Brewing Company. Each space has instructions that further the gameplay. Players that land on a space that directs them to go forward or backwards, may move their label until they have no further instructions.

Colored Spaces:

On the game board, there are three green spaces and nine red spaces that indicate how far a player will advance upon landing on that space. Each space dictates if a player will move forward or move back, based upon the text on the space. Spaces that indicate the player has lost a turn imply that the play will be skipped on their next turn.

How to Win:

Players that are able to successfully navigate the game board and reach Wiley Roots Brewing Company before all of the other players wins the game. Players must role the exact number to land on the final space, using a turn each time, until that number is reached. If players wish to extend gameplay, they may require the player rolling to move back the amount over the exact role required to land on the final space.
